"I was really skeptical about signing my son up for Mastery because he was previously taking boxing lessons and eventually got uninterested over time. Which also meant I lost out on my hard earned money. 😞 I was very thankful Mastery offered a discount for the first month before the 6month contract started. I was confident my money wouldn’t be wasted. My son did SO much better in a group setting opposed to the private lessons he was attending for boxing. Mr, Strecker does an amazing job as an instructor and makes it so much fun for the kids and parents. I love getting involved during the sessions."
My child's experience with Mastery Martial Arts has had a profound impact on our family. It has greatly improved her mindset, emotions, and behavior in everyday life. She used to be quite shy about performing or speaking up in group settings, especially around older kids. She worried they might know more than she did and would laugh at her for sharing her thoughts. However, Mastery Martial Arts has helped her build the confidence to express her feelings and face challenging situations with courage. This newfound strength has enabled her to handle real-life situations, like dealing with bullying and managing rude or disrespectful friends at school and in our neighborhood.
The instructors make it such an enjoyable and rewarding experience for the kids and parents. Our daughter has become even more confident since joining, and has embraced all of the behavioral themes that have been taught thus far. She even makes her bed every morning, thanks to
Mr. Strecker.
Personally, as a girl dad, I wanted my daughter to join so she’d be able to protect herself and be confident enough to speak up for herself. I absolutely love watching her develop these skills everyday that she’s in class.
I cannot stress enough how much she loves attending class!
Our Little Dragons program is designed specifically for 4 to 6 year olds. We know that every child develops at a different pace, so there are situations where a child younger than 4 is ready to start. The best way to know, is to schedule a 1-on-1 Introductory Lesson, and see how they do.
We have found that 2 classes per week is good for kids ages 4 to 6. They need the reinforcement of what is taught so they can improve on each of the skills. One time a week isn't enough to help them learn and develop the Life Skills we teach.
For your child's first lesson, wear comfortable athletic clothing. They will be moving around and learning some basic martial arts techniques, but will not be sweating or tired.
You can schedule an Introductory Lesson through our website's registration page. Alternatively, you can visit our school in person or call us for assistance. Our staff will be happy to help you find the best option to start your child's journey.
